CBAS members include organizations and individuals around the world working on cervical barriers and issues or products related to cervical barriers.  CBAS aims to create an international, professional networking organization including clinical and social science research groups, academic institutions, policy and advocacy groups, trade associations, and pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.  Membership is free and open to all who are interested in joining.

Through the CBAS website, members are able to:

• network and collaborate with other professionals in the field;
• keep abreast of new research;
• share information and ideas; and
• receive a periodic newsletter.*

*Members will automatically receive an electronic newsletter (distributed 2-3 times a year) that will include announcements, updates, and new information in the field of cervical barriers.  If you choose not to become a member but are still interested in receiving updates, you can just subscribe to the newsletter separately.

Member Responsibilities

CBAS members should:

• endorse the CBAS mission to raise the profile of cervical barrier methods both for preventing pregnancy and potentially HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs);
• understand CBAS’s key messages; and
• feel free to contribute updated information to the CBAS website and e-newsletter.
